DIRECTIONS:
For Heat: Microwaves can vary. Place on a microwave safe plate in a clean microwave oven. Begin by heating 15 seconds. Touch test heat level. To increase heat, microwave in additional 10 second increments. Do not exceed 45 seconds in total.

For Cold: Place in freezer for 2 hours or store there. Apply directly to affected area. No cover is required.

CARE:Wait 2 hours after use to wash. Hand wash ONLY in COLD water and a mild detergent. Wash if exposed to creams, ointments, grease or food.

As some of you may or may not know you are not supposed to ice for more than fifteen to thirty minutes. The Thermalon Heat-Cold pad works great. I recently had back surgery and bought several brands of ice packs. This is one of the strongest and longest lasting designs I have seen even built better than the Cool Pack which an excellent product. The Thermalon Heat-Cold Ankle pad worked great for my back and the iced feel last at least thirty minutes. My daughter twisted her ankle and we used it for that too - the velcro strap that comes with the ice pack was awesome for the ankle. You cannot go wrong with this product. It will last many years. Other products I have tried that also contain the clay like substance inside have had a tendency to crack open and the contents of the ice pack would leak out within a year of use. I use this ice pack daily and it shows no ware or tear. Price is awesome. In short you cannot go wrong with this product.
